Refund Policy
This Refund Policy applies to purchases of 9CLI Pro from 9Punk LLC ("9Punk," "we," "us," or "our"). Because 9CLI Pro is sold through Paddle, our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record, refunds are processed by Paddle, and this policy operates together with Paddle's Refund Policy and Paddle's Buyer Terms.
Free Trial Before You Pay
9CLI has a Free tier that you can use without paying and without signing in. We encourage you to use the Free tier first to decide whether 9CLI is right for you before purchasing Pro. This means you can evaluate the core application before any payment.
14-Day Withdrawal Right (EU, EEA, and UK Consumers)
If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, EEA, or the United Kingdom, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of the transaction, for any reason, and receive a full refund of the amount you paid.
Important — immediate access
Pro features are made available to you immediately upon purchase. If, during checkout, you request and consent to immediate access to Pro, and you begin using the Pro features during the 14-day period, you acknowledge that you may lose your automatic right to withdraw, to the extent permitted by applicable law. This is consistent with Paddle's Buyer Terms. Even where the automatic right no longer applies, we may still offer a refund at our discretion as described in Section 3.
Our General Refund Approach (All Customers)
Beyond any statutory rights, we want you to be satisfied. We will consider a refund of your most recent payment within 14 days of that charge if 9CLI is not working as described or you are otherwise unsatisfied, provided the request is made in good faith. To request a refund, see Section 5.
- Refunds, when granted, are issued to your original payment method via Paddle.
- We generally do not refund charges older than the most recent billing period, and we do not provide partial/pro-rated refunds for the unused portion of a billing period after that period has begun, except where required by law.
- Because a Free tier is available for evaluation, refund requests that appear to reflect repeated purchase-and-refund patterns or abuse may be declined.
Subscription Cancellation vs. Refund
Cancelling and refunding are different:
- Cancellation stops future renewals. You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of your current billing period; you keep Pro access until then and are not charged again. Cancelling does not by itself refund the period you are currently in.
- Refund returns money already paid, subject to this policy.
You can cancel through Paddle's buyer portal (linked from your purchase-confirmation email) or by contacting Paddle or us.
How to Request a Refund
Because Paddle is the Merchant of Record, refunds are handled through Paddle:
- Preferred: Submit a request through Paddle at paddle.net, or use the link in your purchase-confirmation email; or
- Contact us at contact@9punk.dev with your purchase email and order details, and we will help facilitate the request with Paddle.
Please include the email address used for the purchase and, if available, your Paddle order or receipt number, so we can locate your transaction.
Failed Payments and Involuntary Cancellation
If a renewal payment fails, Paddle may retry the charge. If payment cannot be collected, your subscription may be cancelled and your account will revert to the Free tier. Any running work is not deleted by this change; the concurrent-session limit simply applies again going forward.
Tax Refunds
Business customers who were charged sales tax, VAT, GST, or similar taxes may be eligible for a refund of that tax amount through Paddle if they are registered for that tax in the country of purchase, subject to Paddle's requirements and time limits. See Paddle's Buyer Terms.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date, and the policy in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase.
